Hampton Heights' Parks

Willow Oaks Park
Located on West Hampton Avenue, this small neighborhood park is tucked in the heart of the Hampton Heights community. Neighbors joined together to turn this once vacant lot into a gathering space for residents. It has swing sets, park benches, a grill, and a beautiful sculpture by a local artist.

Irwin Park
Located at the bottom of South Irwin Avenue is Irwin Park, which is owned and operated by the City of Spartanburg. This 14 acre park received a playground facelift in 2006 when Kaboom gave a grant to the City of Spartanburg and Southside Unity in the Community to improve the facility. Hampton Heights Neighborhood Association was thrilled to be a partner in that effort.

The Hampton Heights Neighborhood Association (HHNA) provides a collective voice when expressing concerns to the City, a source for information on area community events, and builds a stronger sense of neighborhood community through fun neighborhood events. Any household in the Hampton Heights neighborhood is welcome to join.

The HHNA Board members meet nine to twelve times a year to organize neighborhood events and plan responses to neighborhood concerns. Meetings are typically held the third Tuesday of the month.

Thank You!
