We are so very thankful for your contribution to the Hampton Heights Neighborhood Association!
It takes so many neighbors pitching in with their time, talents, and gifts to make our neighborhood the very best it can be. We are really excited about 2022 and wanted to share with you some of our short and long-term goals for the year.
New landscaping with native plants and signage for the gazebo area. We want to welcome everyone to Hampton Heights from the moment they pull into the neighborhood!
Monthly eNewsletter to keep everyone connected and in the know!
Work with the City to repair sidewalks and to keep our streets litter free through clean-up initiatives.
Look into the possibility of a fun painted crosswalk at the intersection of West Hampton & Spring Street.
Research replacing our current street signs with historic street signs.
Lighting up our streets to keep our neighbors safe through more power pole lights and encouraging neighbors to keep their porch lights on at night.
Long Term Goals:
Look into additional playground equipment and lighting for Willow Oaks Park.
Advocacy for vacant properties.
Work to install traffic calming measures specifically on West Hampton Avenue to keep everyone safe.
We love Hampton Heights and know you do too! We're really excited to work with you this year to continue to make our neighborhood safe and beautiful and to get to know all of our neighbors better through our community events.
We'll see you soon!
